Treat Jar

Hi Everyone,

Here is a treat jar I made for a swap I am in. I used the Happy Hauntings cricut cart to etch the glass and for the "treats" word art. I got the glass jar from hobby lobby for about $1.50.
I think it turned out pretty cute. It is hard to see the etching in the picture. I was having trouble with the lighting.

My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software Giveaway plus Discount Code

Hi Friends!
I am excited to post my first giveaway on my blog! It is a giveaway of the My Memories Suite digital software program. All you have to do is visit www.MyMemories.com and comment back here to tell me what your favorite digital paper pack is. Also, leave a way for me to get into contact with you if you win. That's it! Easy Peasy.

My own personal review: This is a great program which is really simple to use. This is my first experience in digital scrapbooking and I am pleasently surprised with how easy it is. This would be a great program for beginners or those that do not have a lot of time to scrapbook. I will be using this program a lot after the baby gets here! What is really nice about this software is that there are tons of freebies that you can download on their website. There are also ones that you can pay for which are pretty cheap. The above layout was created from all freebies on their website.

This company generously is giving my readers a discount! The discount code for MyMemories is STMMS71205. It provides a $10 discount code off the purchase of MyMemories Suite Software and a $10 coupon for MyMemories.com store. This is a $20 value.

I will use random.org to pick the winner sometime next week. I will also post more projects on the software. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Hello crafting friends!

Challenge Me Monday #64

Hi Everyone,
This weeks challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is "Wedding Wishes." You must include the color white and a bell.
This challenge was a great one to participate in because I attended a friend's wedding at the end of May. So, I chose to do a scrapbook Layout. I took some pictures of the happy couple. I just have to print out my fav one to put in the frame.
I am happy with how it turned out. I used the couple's colors for the page, magenta and white. I love the sparkly coordinations paper!
I used:

Cricut Carts: Storybook (font) Wedding (Bells) and Plantin Schoolbook (Hearts)

Paper: Stampin Up and Coordinations (both of these cut well in the cricut)

Stamps: Doodle this from Stampin Up

Miscl. Rub ons and stickers from my stash, fine black pen, ribbon

Happy Monday! I have the summer off since I work in the school system. I will be posting a lot more since I have more time now!

Father's Day Card Challenge

Hi Everyone,
Here is a card that I made for Father's Day. It is also for a challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge is to show Dad he is number 1 by making a special project just for him.
I enjoyed making this card with my new to me stamp set from Stampin up called Nature Prints. My Dad loves fishing and I can remember fishing with him since I was very little. So, the fish stamp is very fitting.
I used my imagine stock image to cut out the frame.
I used Stampin up products for the paper, ink, and pastels.
Have a great day!

Cherry Pie Recipie Layout with the Imagine

Happy Sunday Everyone!
I recently got the imagine, and have been able to create some things with it this weekend. I am really loving all of the different patterns and images on the Kate's Kitchen cart. Here is a recipe page that I made. It is 11x 8.5". I used storybook for the font and used kate's kitchen for the pattern (great feature). The cherries were on the cart and I added some ribbon from Michael's. The yellow background paper is from Stampin up.

Pirate Ship ARRRGH!

This pirate ship was awesome to see in person. We saw it at a Port on Lake Huron where we parked my parents new sailboat and stayed there for the night. I used the Paper Doll cart for the pirates and Gypsy font for the title. I am not sure what the paper is- maybe BoBunny.

Here is a layout that was at Lake Huron. I used Gypsy font for the title. The pictures are beautiful.
I used Life's a Beach Cart for the shells and Pooh Font for the title. I also used a Martha Stewert Border punch for the border. I am happy with how this Layout turned out. It was taken at my family's cottage on Lake Huron. I can't figure out how to rotate the picture. LOL, I will figure that out later!
