Treat Jar

Hi Everyone,

Here is a treat jar I made for a swap I am in. I used the Happy Hauntings cricut cart to etch the glass and for the "treats" word art. I got the glass jar from hobby lobby for about $1.50.
I think it turned out pretty cute. It is hard to see the etching in the picture. I was having trouble with the lighting.

My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software Giveaway plus Discount Code

Hi Friends!
I am excited to post my first giveaway on my blog! It is a giveaway of the My Memories Suite digital software program. All you have to do is visit www.MyMemories.com and comment back here to tell me what your favorite digital paper pack is. Also, leave a way for me to get into contact with you if you win. That's it! Easy Peasy.

My own personal review: This is a great program which is really simple to use. This is my first experience in digital scrapbooking and I am pleasently surprised with how easy it is. This would be a great program for beginners or those that do not have a lot of time to scrapbook. I will be using this program a lot after the baby gets here! What is really nice about this software is that there are tons of freebies that you can download on their website. There are also ones that you can pay for which are pretty cheap. The above layout was created from all freebies on their website.

This company generously is giving my readers a discount! The discount code for MyMemories is STMMS71205. It provides a $10 discount code off the purchase of MyMemories Suite Software and a $10 coupon for MyMemories.com store. This is a $20 value.

I will use random.org to pick the winner sometime next week. I will also post more projects on the software. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Also: My pink stamper challenge of favorite things. MY fav color is purple! I also LOVE fruit and blackberries. I used my fav paper- Stampin Up.
I thought this would be a great opportunity to showcase my homemade jam..yummy.

Stroll with me and Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Here is another baby layout I created. I love the bright, cheery colors I used. It is pretty simple, and was really easy to put together.
I am also entering this in the Fantabulous Cricut blog challenge, to include a bug in your project. I included a dragonfly and stamped on the face. It was a tiny face from a peachy keen assortment pack.
Here it is:

Bed Time Layout

I love this cut from baby steps.

Hello crafting friends!
We are expecting! So I am getting a head start on the baby scrapbooking since I have some time on my hands. There have also been some really good deals out there on carts. I got baby steps, sugar and spice, and boys will be boys. They all have great cuts on them. FYI Walmart is clearancing out their cricut lite carts for $20. This is a pretty good deal. Happy crafting everyone!

Challenge Me Monday #64

Hi Everyone,
This weeks challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is "Wedding Wishes." You must include the color white and a bell.
This challenge was a great one to participate in because I attended a friend's wedding at the end of May. So, I chose to do a scrapbook Layout. I took some pictures of the happy couple. I just have to print out my fav one to put in the frame.
I am happy with how it turned out. I used the couple's colors for the page, magenta and white. I love the sparkly coordinations paper!
I used:

Cricut Carts: Storybook (font) Wedding (Bells) and Plantin Schoolbook (Hearts)

Paper: Stampin Up and Coordinations (both of these cut well in the cricut)

Stamps: Doodle this from Stampin Up

Miscl. Rub ons and stickers from my stash, fine black pen, ribbon

Happy Monday! I have the summer off since I work in the school system. I will be posting a lot more since I have more time now!
